Walnut is a store of omega-3: from 6 months it can be mixed as FINE POWDER into puree/yogurt; whole or large-broken walnut is a choking risk until age 4-5.
How to serve it by age?
Half a teaspoon of fine walnut powder processed in a blender, in puree.
The amount of powder can increase; added to breakfast spreads.
Still powder/very finely chopped — whole walnut is not given until preschool age.
