How to serve it by age?
Brown rice porridge cooked thoroughly in plenty of water and brought to a puree or porridge consistency; it can be thinned with breast milk, formula, or vegetable stock.
As a less-mashed, soft-grained rice; it can be served at a finger-food consistency mixed with vegetable and meat purees.
Regular cooked brown rice from the family table can be given, keeping oil and salt to a minimum.

📌 Watch out for these
- Brown rice should be cooked longer and in more water than white rice; no hard grains should remain.
- Since rice-family grains can naturally contain trace amounts of arsenic, it is recommended to cook it in plenty of water, drain the water, and ensure dietary variety.
- Because it is high in fiber, it should not be given alone in excessive amounts but rotated with various grains.
