Strawberry Chicken Bites – A Colourful Spring Finger Food
Soft mini balls made with minced chicken, oats, and fresh strawberries — lightly seasoned, nutritious, and a fun finger food for children aged 2 and up.
Ingredients
- 250 gr minced chicken breast
- 4 tablespoon rolled oats
- 1 egg
- 6 fresh strawberries
- 1 grated carrot
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon (finely chopped) parsley
Directions

1) Remove the stems from the strawberries, wash them thoroughly, and chop them into small pieces.

2) In a large bowl, combine the minced chicken, oats, egg, grated carrot, onion powder, and parsley; mix and knead well.

3) Add the chopped strawberries to the mixture and gently fold them in, being careful not to mash them too much.

4) With damp hands, shape the mixture into walnut-sized balls (approximately 14–16 pieces).

5) Line a baking tray with parchment paper, place the balls on it, and drizzle with olive oil.

6) Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20–22 minutes, until lightly golden on top.

7) Allow to cool to a warm temperature before serving; you can pair them with a yoghurt dip or seasonal fruit.
