Strawberry Yogurt Parfait – A Sweet Spring Surprise
A colourful, layered spring treat made with fresh strawberries, plain yogurt, and oats. A light, nutritious snack that's as fun to look at as it is to eat!
Ingredients
- 150 gr plain whole-milk yogurt
- 100 gr fresh strawberries
- 3 tablespoon rolled oats (fine)
- 0.5 piece banana
- 1 small pinch cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
Directions

1) Thinly slice half the strawberries. Mash the remaining half together with the banana and lemon juice using a fork, or blend briefly into a smooth purée.

2) Toast the oats in a dry pan over a medium heat for 2–3 minutes until lightly golden, then set aside to cool. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

3) Spoon the plain yogurt into a small bowl or a clear cup, spreading it across the base.

4) Spoon the strawberry-banana purée over the yogurt, then sprinkle the toasted oats on top.

5) Decorate with the sliced fresh strawberries and add the chia seeds if you like.

6) Serve straight away, or refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving.
