1. Boil the egg thoroughly (in boiling water for at least 10 minutes).

2. Separate the yolk — initially offering just the yolk is a common approach because the protein in the white causes allergies more frequently.

3. Add a tiny amount — just the tip of a teaspoon — of yolk to one of your baby's meals after midday, or mix with a little breast milk/formula to adjust consistency and give alone.
