Whole-Grain Vegetable Bulgur Pilaf — A Warm, Fibre- and Energy-Friendly Meal for the Postpartum Period
Cooked with colourful vegetables, this whole-grain bulgur pilaf offers a filling, fibre- and energy-friendly warm meal for mums in the postpartum period. A practical, nourishing option with simple ingredients.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Coarse bulgur
- 1 piece Onion (finely chopped)
- 1 piece Tomato (grated)
- 1 piece Red pepper (finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 cups Hot water
Directions

Sauté the onion in the olive oil until soft.

Add the pepper and sauté for a few minutes, then stir in the grated tomato.

Add the bulgur and toast briefly, letting the grains absorb the oil.

Pour in the hot water and cook, covered, over low heat until absorbed (about 15-20 minutes).

Take off the heat, cover with a clean cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes; serve warm.
