Oat and Banana Energy Bowl for Mothers — A Filling, Practical Meal During Breastfeeding
Made with oats, ripe banana, walnuts and tahini, this no-cook bowl is a practical recipe that breastfeeding mothers can put together quickly on busy days as a filling meal. With the slow-release carbohydrates of oats, the natural sweetness of banana and the healthy fats of tahini, it aims to offer measured, balanced energy.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Rolled oats
- 2 pieces Ripe banana
- 0.5 cup Coarsely chopped walnuts
- 2 tablespoons Tahini
- 1 cup Strained yogurt
- 1 tablespoon Chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Honey (optional)
- 0.5 cup Milk or water (for consistency)
Directions

Put the rolled oats in a large bowl, add the milk or water and let them soften for 5-10 minutes.

Mash one of the bananas with a fork and thinly slice the other one for serving.

Add the mashed banana, strained yogurt, tahini and chia seeds to the softened oats and mix well.

Sprinkle in the cinnamon, add the honey if you like, and stir the mixture again.

Prepare the bowls; top with the sliced banana and coarsely chopped walnuts.

Serve right away, or let it rest in the fridge for a few hours for a thicker consistency.
