How are newborn bottles sterilized?

Sterilizing newborn bottles is quite simple. First, disassemble all the parts like the bottle, nipple, cap, and ring, and rinse them thoroughly under running water. You can use a bottle brush and dish soap. Then place the parts in a large pot with enough clean water to cover them completely, bring to a boil, and add the pieces to the water. Boil for 5 minutes — no longer is needed. Make sure the water touches all surfaces of the parts. Then remove with clean tongs and let them air dry on a clean towel or bottle drying rack. Sterilization is more important in the first 3 months; after that, thorough washing with hot soapy water is also adequate.
