Feeling like your breast isn't completely empty after nursing is common and doesn't necessarily mean trouble ahead. However, there could be a few possible reasons underneath this feeling:

• Milk oversupply (hyperlactation): As the baby nurses, new milk keeps being produced so the breast stays "full." Over time, the supply-demand balance usually settles.
