  2. 2

Cut the flesh into small pieces and lightly steam for a few minutes until very soft.

  3. 3

  4. 4

If needed, add boiled and cooled water little by little to reach the soft consistency your baby likes, and serve warm.

🌱 Why is it nourishing?

Fresh figs can add a gentle variety to complementary feeding in summer with their natural sweetness and soft texture. Their fibre may support digestion, and the smooth consistency suits babies getting used to spoon feeding. Preparing it with a single fruit also fits the approach of introducing new tastes one at a time.
