🌱 Why is it nourishing?
With its soft texture and very mild taste, zucchini is a gentle option for meeting vegetables during solids. Thanks to its high water content, when steamed it takes on a silky, easy-to-swallow consistency and can make a light meal on hot summer days. Being made with a single ingredient, it also fits the approach of introducing new tastes one at a time.
Maiyko's note
At Maiyko we believe the solids journey should move forward with patient, simple steps and plenty of love. A mild vegetable taste feels familiar to some babies at the first try, to others after a few repeats.
