Let the cooked rice cool slightly; then mash well with a fork or blend until smooth.

  4. 4

If needed, add a little cooled boiled water bit by bit to reach the consistency your baby likes.

🌱 Why is it nourishing?

Rice is a gentle, easy-to-digest grain option for the move to solids and can offer your baby a light source of energy. Its smooth texture makes a soft start for babies getting used to spoon feeding. Being made with a single ingredient, it also fits the approach of introducing new tastes one at a time.
