Cauliflower Puree — A Soft, Light Vegetable Meal for 8+ Months
A smooth, additive-free vegetable puree made from steamed cauliflower. From 8 months, you can offer it to your baby as a light, easy-to-digest meal.
Ingredients
- 150 grams Cauliflower (fresh, cut into small florets)
- 1.5 cups Drinking water (for cooking)
- 2-3 tablespoons Breast milk or formula (to thin)
- 2-3 drops Olive oil (optional)
Directions

Break the cauliflower into small florets and rinse them well under running water.

Cook the florets in the drinking water for 12-15 minutes, steaming or simmering over low heat, until soft enough to mash easily with a fork.

Mash or blend the softened cauliflower together with a little of its cooking water until smooth.

Thin to a consistency your baby can swallow easily by adding breast milk, formula or warm boiled water.

If you like, stir in a few drops of olive oil.

Let it cool to lukewarm before offering it by spoon; introduce each new ingredient one at a time, 3 days apart.
