Carrot & Zucchini Purée – A Gentle First Taste of Spring
This simple two-ingredient, hypoallergenic purée brings together fresh carrot and zucchini in the most delicate way — a perfect spring introduction for your baby's first steps into solid foods. No salt, no sugar, just pure natural goodness.
Ingredients
- 1 medium Carrot
- 1 small piece (~80 g) Zucchini or butternut squash
- 2-3 tablespoons (to adjust consistency) Drinking water or breast milk / prepared formula water
Directions

1) Wash the carrot and zucchini thoroughly, peel them, and cut into small cubes.

2) Steam the vegetables for 12–15 minutes until a fork goes through easily. (Steaming helps preserve their nutritional value.)

3) Transfer the softened vegetables to a blender or baby food maker and blend with breast milk, formula water, or plain drinking water until smooth.

4) Spoon the purée into a serving dish, check that it is lukewarm, and serve to your baby. Any leftover purée can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
