🌱 Why is it nourishing?
Sweet potato is rich in beta-carotene, which converts to vitamin A in the body to support eye development and immune health. Apple contains pectin fibre, which helps regulate digestion and may prevent constipation. Since both ingredients are naturally sweet, this purée is easy for babies to accept as one of their first tastes — no added sweeteners needed. The potassium in sweet potato supports healthy muscle and nerve development. Introduce each new food on its own and wait at least days before introducing another, so you can watch for any possible allergic reactions.
